Thanks for sharing these, Martin! I did the first one in my little sketch book. I don’t know much about drawing, but hoping some practicing will help with my watercolor paintings. I didn’t try too hard to make everything the same size as in video, hence the different placement of windows, which now makes the front of building look like a face vomiting stairs!!! LOL
Also, I only have one kind of pencil (8B) which was my late grandmother’s so I didn’t try too hard getting all the values correct. 🙂 I’ll have to ask my mom for the rest of the set. This video really helped me understand perspective better. Thanks again, Martin 🙂

    Hi Lora,

I made this into its own topic as I think everyone should see what you have achieved here with this brilliant sketch! Really impressive use of one point perspective and I think the vomiting doorway just adds to the charm and also made me laugh when I saw to what you were referring 🙂

Thanks, Martin! The vomiting doorway gave me a much needed chuckle 🙂
I couldn’t have it done it without the video; it made it pretty easy, with a straight edge of course! I tried to apply it to that building in one of the mini sketch challenge photos, but I couldn’t figure it out on my own. I’ll have to watch the other videos. Thanks for sharing those with us. 🙂

Thanks, Jezzy! Now when I tried to apply this on my own on another sketch, I had much difficulty. LOL I need more practice 😉

Haha. That’s funny–I can see the face in the middle of the house.  This is an amazing example of perspective.  You nailed it with all those angles!  Beautiful job, Lora!  😀

Thanks, Margaret! Now if I could only figure out how to do this without a video telling me exactly what to do, I’ll be in business! Lol 😀
